Early discussion about website requirements and expectations, revealed an urgent need to deliver consistency across all communication materials, to reflect the right profile as one of the largest independent building consultancies in Europe. This was to become even more important as one of the founding partners had recently been appointed as president of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, putting TFT under greater media exposure.
The development of the newly designed website had already led to an assessment of the businesses vision and values. This was used to underpin direction and with the addition of a communications audit, several ‘touchpoints’ were drawn up for priority attention.
A new graphic design direction and 'tone of voice' was established to reflect a professional, friendly yet informative and authoritative stance. Professional, architectural photography was commissioned. Brand new copy was written and a new ‘integrated’ look was created that supported the direction and ‘tone of voice’ across all top-level communication pieces.
